Venture Magazine was initially started as a way to reach audiences outside of Adventures in Missions' traditional "missions-focused" segments. We were already telling encouraging stories of ministry overseas, but what about the people at home? They can live intentional, missional lives too, right? What if we created an online platform to encourage and inspire people everywhere – domestically and abroad, christians and non-christians – to live and share better stories wherever they are in life?
And so, from an apartment living room, Venture Magazine was born in the summer of 2013. Our first online issue went live in September of 2013 and we've grown by nearly 300% every month since.
I'm the Chief Creative Consultant for Venture and a proud member of a passionate team that includes 4 staff, 3 apprentices, and dozens of contributors from all across the country.
